First-class cancer care, close to home.

Dealing with cancer can be a tough journey. But it doesn’t have to take you far from home. Whether you’re concerned about your risk factors for cancer, or are looking for comprehensive resources to combat this disease on all fronts, Day Kimball Healthcare offers the high-quality care and treatments you need — without the added stress of long and tiring commutes.

We provide compassionate, first-class cancer care right here in Northeast Connecticut. Our integrated approach brings together the services and expertise of physicians, cancer specialists, certified oncology nurses, a dedicated oncology nurse navigator and social worker, and an extended team of other professionals who all work together to ensure you have the best possible care and quality of life, so you can concentrate on getting well.

Our integrated Cancer Care services include:

Risk Prevention Assessment/Genetic Testing
We work hard to confront cancer well before any diagnosis of this challenging disease. To that end, your Day Kimball primary care physician offers a wide variety of risk prevention assessments, including clinical breast exams, bone density tests, prostate cancer screenings, colonoscopies and genetic testing for those with a high-risk family history of cancer. Learn more…

Patient Navigation
When you receive a cancer diagnosis, it can be overwhelming. Our oncology nurse navigator is there to help coordinate your hematology/oncology treatments and assist you in accessing diagnostic imaging services, surgical care, nutritional consultations and physical medicine and rehabilitation services as necessary, as well as financial assistance resources, support groups, and social services. Learn more…

Hematology/Oncology
