Overview Locations, Hours and Contact Information

Our inpatient behavioral health services provide short-term intensive inpatient care for individuals who have voiced or demonstrated an intent to hurt themselves or others, or who behave in a manner that is considered gravely disabled.

Located within Day Kimball Hospital, our Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit is a 15-bed locked unit, which means that individuals can be admitted on either a voluntary or involuntary basis. Patients served are primarily ages 16 and older.

Our Inpatient Behavioral Health program provides continuous assessment and a coordinated, goal-driven treatment plan that is carried out by a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals. The focus is on rapid stabilization of the acute symptoms.

Once stabilization has been achieved, clinicians will refer patients to appropriate follow-up care to continue their recovery. This may include referall to a partial hospital program, an intensive outpatient program, or therapy through our outpatient behavioral health program.

Billing and Payment Information

Billing for behavioral health services will come from Day Kimball Hospital. Please check with your insurance carrier for details about your specific coverage, copays, deductibles and any prior authorization requirements.
