Nurturing Families Network
The Nurturing Families Network aims to identify and enhance family strengths while providing parents with knowledge and tools to monitor and promote their child's growth and brain development. We want to empower families to advocate for themselves and their children, and have the ability to receive support from community providers. All services are free and confidential.

Free services for first-time parents of children under the age of 3 months
Nurturing Connections (Telephone Support)
Trained nurturing volunteers will be there for you when you have non-medical questions about your baby. Trained nurturing volunteers provide:

- Confidentiality
- Emotional Support
- Monthly Mailings - Child Development Info
- Connection to Community Resources

Home Visitation
Family Support Workers provide encouragement and support, helpful tips for a fussy baby, free books and other free materials. With each visit, the Family Support Worker can assist you with:
- Child development monitoring and information
- Activities to do with your baby to promote healthy brain development
- Infant massage information and support
- Options to deal with everyday stresses
- Connections to community resources

Free services for anyone parenting a child from birth to 5 years old
Parenting Series
This series teaches positive discipline methods. Parents will learn:
- Infant and child development information
- How to establish nurturing routines
- Effective discipline techniques
- Communication skills
- Tips to safety proof your home
- Community resource information

Nurturing Parenting Group for Parents and Children

Free services for anyone parenting a child from birth through elementary school age
Triple P
Triple P stands for "Positive Parenting Program." Triple P aims to build positive behaviors in children, confidence in parents' abilities, and community support for raising children.
Triple P is really a whole system of support for parents because it is designed to offer as much or as little help as parents may want. From reading a Tip Sheet on a particular problem, to attending a Seminar or Group Course, or taking individual sessions to address more serious issues, Triple P offers a program tailored for each parent.

Making Parenting a Pleasure
This class is for parents of children newborn to age 8 and is geared toward empowering families, reducing parent stress and helping parents achieve goals for their family. Check our events calendar for upcoming classes, or call the Nurturing Families Network office (see contact info below).
Circle of Security
The Circle of Security is a relationship based program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and children. Decades of university-based research have confirmed that secure children exhibit increased empathy, greater self-esteem, better relationships with parents and peers, enhanced school readiness, and an increased capacity to handle emotions more effectively when compared with children who are not secure.
