PUTNAM, CONNECTICUT – Day Kimball Healthcare announces that Tina Kerouack, patient services staffing coordinator, is Day Kimball’s October Employee of the Month.
“For more than twenty-five years Tina has been behind-the-scenes meeting the clinical staffing needs,” said Carol Howland, vice president of patient services. “She is consistently praised by nursing supervisors for her great communication style and creativeness in managing many schedules. Her contributions to Day Kimball make her more than worthy of this great distinction.”
Kerouack has been in her position since December of 1985. In her role she manages patient care coverage by coordinating staff schedules. In addition she monitors and reports on personnel and staff utilization to ensure the organization is staffed appropriately.
“It is an honor to be recognized,” said Kerouack, upon learning of her award. She continued, “I am fortunate to work with a great team at Day Kimball and I enjoy the day-to-day challenges of staffing a hospital.”
Kerouack earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Fairfield University.
Kerouack was raised in Palisades Park, New Jersey and has resided in Brooklyn, CT for 26 years, where she and her late husband Jim built their home and raised their sons Jesse and Aaron. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, photography, reading and world travel.
