Cheryl Livernoche Named Employee of the Month at Day Kimball Healthcare

Cheryl Livernoche, Unit Receptionist/ Patient Care Technician, Day Kimball Healthcare, is the organization’s December Employee of the Month.

PUTNAM, CONN. – Cheryl Livernoche has been named employee of the month for December at Day Kimball Healthcare (DKH). She is a unit receptionist and patient care technician (UR/PCT) and certified obstetrics scrub tech, for the Maternal Child Health (MCH) department.

“Cheryl is one of the most conscientious, hardworking employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” said Rachel Katsoulis, RN, MCH operations coordinator. “She values the close-knit environment in MCH, and really goes out of her way to make people feel valued. She takes pride in her work, understanding the importance of the role she plays on the unit.”

Livernoche began her career as a UR/PCT at DKH in January 2008. She has dual responsibilities. As unit receptionist, Livenoche is responsible for completing patient forms and requisitions, and serves as the central communications source at the nursing station. In her capacity as patient care technician, she assists nurses with their duties and is also the primary scrub tech for births by caesarian section and attends deliveries to assist doctors and nurses.

“It is quite an honor to be recognized for doing a job that I love doing,” said Livernoche. “I love coming to work every day. I love being here. Our staff makes our patients feel safe and well taken care of as they experience the giving of life.”

Livernoche lives in Putnam with her husband, Jeff.
