Day Kimball Hospital Recognized Providing More Affordable Care

For the second year in a row, Aetna insurance has designated Day Kimball Hospital a Choose and Save(SM) hospital, based on specific criteria for clinical quality and efficient use of healthcare resources. This recognition acknowledges Day Kimball’s ability to deliver affordable healthcare services. For patients insured under Aetna health benefit plans that include the Choose and Save network feature, covered services at Day Kimball will be paid at the most preferred benefit level, meaning Aetna will pay a higher share of the cost.

Aetna educates its members about the program and provides members with tools and resources to locate and estimate the cost of care before receiving services.
