Day Kimball Hospital Woman's Board Presents "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change"

PUTNAM, CT – The Woman’s Board of Day Kimball Hospital is holding a fundraising event at the Complex Performing Arts Centre, also known as the Black Box Theater, at 96 Front Street in Putnam, Connecticut on Friday, August 5, 2011. The show, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, is a musical comedy presented in a series of vignettes connected by a central theme of love and relationships.
Social hour starts at 7:00 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, desserts, beverages and wine, and the performance begins at 8:00 p.m. It is sure to be an entertaining evening. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Day Kimball Hospital Gift Shop or reserved by calling Donna Mercier at (860) 774-1381. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early as there is limited seating available.
Other upcoming Day Kimball Hospital Woman’s Board fundraisers include the Annual Golf Tournament held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Vineyard Valley Golf Course in Pomfret Center, Connecticut; “TGIF” Party hosted by the Archambault family on Friday, September 23, 2011; and “Author’s Night” held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at “The Barn” in Brooklyn, Connecticut. Author’s night features New York Times bestselling author Brunonia Barry.

The mission of the Woman’s Board is to raise funds to enhance the quality and services of Day Kimball Hospital. The Woman’s Board has been in existence for 116 years, and has provided important and necessary medical equipment to the hospital. This includes the hospital’s first ambulance in the early 1900s. Their latest project is the commitment to a multi-year pledge to raise $217,000, which funded the purchase of state-of-the-art patient monitoring equipment in the Emergency Department.
