The American Red Cross to Host Blood Drive at Day Kimball Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2012

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at Day Kimball Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. The drive will be located in the Hospital’s Robert H. Field Conference Center. All donors are asked to enter the Hospital through the rear laboratory entrance.

Not only can donors give the gift of life by donating, the American Red Cross is giving all presenting donors an All-in-One Screwdriver or an LED Tripod Flashlight, courtesy of Stanley Black & Decker.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. All donors are required to provide acceptable proof of identification. Three days prior to donating, blood donors should begin drinking plenty of fluids, such as water or juice. They should also allow eight weeks between donations.
