Numerous studies have shown that gratitude is good for your health in many ways. Gratitude is also contagious – the act of “paying it forward” is no coincidence. The mere act of thinking grateful thoughts, or hearing someone else’s, can set off a chain reaction of positive thinking, actions and effects, not only for yourself but for others as well.

Check out the infographic below to see just a few of the benefits of being thankful. Then take some time to really think about the things you're thankful for - it's good for you, your family and your community.

Happy Thanksgiving, Northeastern Connecticut!
