CT Farmer's Market Nutrition Program
Vouchers Now Available for the 2016 Farmer's Market Season!
Vouchers for the purchase of healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables are now available for current eligible WIC participants, through the CT Farmer's Market Nutrition Program. This program helps to provide healthy foods to women and children who participate in the WIC program, while also helping to support local farmers.
The program provides:
- $15 in vouchers for WIC-participating pregnant women, AND
- $15 in vouchers for EACH WIC-participating child (ages 1 - 5)
Current Day Kimball Healthcare WIC Program participants can get their vouchers by contacting our office at (860) 928-3660.
Vouchers may be redeemed at participating farmer's markets throughout Connecticut during the 2016 farmer's market season, which runs through October.
